– See the Painted Rocks of Flathead lake: Along the western shore of Flathead lake, near West Shore State Park, are the “Painted Rocks” – rock cliffs with early Native American pictographs (rock paintings) and Petrographs (carvings) that are believed to be over 3,000 years old.
